How Long is the Tubing?
Each PTLevel (Long Range Wireless or Wired WiFi) is shipped with 13' of tubing.
The PTLevel can measure up to 18' of liquid. After 18' of liquid, the pressure from the liquid can enter past the pressure chamber and into the tubing, causing inaccurate readings.
On our website, you can upgrade to purchasing 25' of tubing.
If for some reason you need longer tubing, please contact us. We cut the tubing to length in-house.
What to do with Extra Tubing?
A common question we get is "what do I do with excess tubing?"
You can do one of two things, but the main thing is to keep excess tubing out of direct sunlight (which can cause temperature fluctuations and eventually condensation) and away from kids, pets, and lawnmowers (the most common way for the tubing to get damaged).
First, you can cut the tubing to the right depth of your tank.
Or second, you can store the excess tubing inside the tank (away from the sun, kids, pets, and lawnmowers).
