Can the PTLevel WIFI be Installed Outside?
Absolutely. All PTLevel devices are designed specifically to handle the outdoor environment.
A few tips for outdoor installations:
- We recommend that you keep the small tubing that is exposed to the outdoors as short as possible.
- Protect the small tubing from the delivery guy's hose and other outside threats to damaging the tubing.
Some specifications of the WIFI PTLevel for the outdoors:
- -40°C to 100°C temperature range.
- IP65 design - Handles water on it but should not be submersed ever.
If you want, you can install the device inside another enclosure, but you must vent that enclosure well.
